Capacity Building and Raising Awareness in Europe and in the Third Countries to Cope with Xylella fastidiosa “CURE-XF” is a project funded by the EC in the framework of H2020 (Marie-Curie Project for Research And Innovation Staff Exchange Call: H2020-MSCA-RISE-2016, Project number: 734353).
This 4-year project, coordinated by CIHEAM Bari, involves 18 partners from the following countries: Italy, France, Greece, Spain, Belgium, UK, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Lebanon, Palestine and Iran.
The selected Partner countries are differently involved in the study and management of quarantine pests, each one with a different role, approach and competence.
This project will cover various aspects of Xylella fastidiosa assessment and management (pathogen-hosts interaction, characterization, diagnosis, epidemiology, monitoring, etc.).
The kick-off meeting will take place on September 28-29, 2017 at CIHEAM Bari.
